About the Role
We need a skilled Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to build and manage advanced cloud infrastructure for Photoshop. This role involves AWS, Aquarium orchestration, AI-based automation, and up-to-date DevOps techniques to deliver secure, scalable, and thoughtful solutions supporting one of the most renowned creative applications.
Responsibilities
- Cloud Infrastructure Build: Architect and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using AWS, Kubernetes (EKS), Docker, and Terraform.
- CI/CD Development: Build and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions, Jenkins, and integrate with internal orchestration platforms for seamless deployments.
- AI for Efficiency: Use Generative AI and automation powered by artificial intelligence to streamline developer workflows, speed up infrastructure provisioning, and improve operational performance.
- Automation & Developer Tools: Build internal solutions including CLI applications, templating systems, and custom package managers to boost developer efficiency.
- Incident Management: Direct live troubleshooting, root cause investigation, and incident handling for production systems.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams to modernize legacy systems, improve reliability, and optimize performance.
- Infrastructure Optimization: Automate infrastructure tasks and implement guidelines for scalability, security, and cost efficiency.
Qualifications
- Experience: 15+ years in software engineering, DevOps, or infrastructure positions.
- AWS Expertise: Strong experience with secure multi-account VPC networking, CIDR block management, autoscaling, ALBs, and Secrets Manager integration.
- Containerization & IaC: Advanced knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform for containerization and infrastructure-as-code solutions.
- Programming Skills: Proficiency in Python, Java, bash/shell scripting, and familiarity with C++.
- CI/CD Tools: Experience with current CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions and Jenkins.
- Backend & APIs: Strong understanding of REST APIs, SQL/NoSQL databases.
- AI Integration: Experience applying GenAI or AI-based automation in DevOps workflows for efficiency gains.
- Leadership: Ability to lead projects from build to deployment, including live debugging, incident response, and root cause analysis.
Education
- Advanced degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Aquarium or similar cloud orchestration platforms.
- Knowledge of observability tools (Datadog, Prometheus, Grafana).
- Familiarity with cloud security guidelines and compliance frameworks.
- Strong communication and leadership skills for cross-functional collaboration.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $159,200 -- $301,600 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans. Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).
In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
