Your new role

• Contribute to the development of appropriate strategies, processes, and procedures for the Claims operation to support the delivery of business targets.

• Assist in the forecast of Claims activity through analysis of business levels and knowledge of the Claims environment to support decision-making.

• Maintain efficient handling of own caseload to ensure the prompt, timely, and effective handling of reinsurance Claims.

• Resolve customer service issues to ensure their prompt and timely resolution.

• Develop and maintain good client relationships with the re-insured and brokers

• Approve reinsurance claims within written authority levels

About you:

• Experience in handling Property claims of high value (Cat and per risk covers)  

• Experience of working within the Reinsurance/ insurance/legal industry
