About the Role:

Position Overview:

The Senior Chargeback Analyst plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial transactions, contract alignment, and strong distributor partnerships. This position is responsible for investigating claim discrepancies, coordinating with internal teams to resolve chargeback and rebate issues, and ensuring customer eligibility and pricing are correctly maintained. With a focus on accuracy and operational efficiency, the specialist monitors data for root-cause issues, supports process improvements, and provides timely updates to management on trends and recurring challenges.

In this role, the Senior Chargeback Analyst serves as a key resource for Direct Order hold management and reconciliation, negotiates outstanding distributor balances within established guidelines, and handles customer eligibility inquiries with precision and follow-through. Success in this position requires strong analytical skills, effective communication, and the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and work environments. The analyst is expected to model professionalism, contribute actively to team initiatives, and build productive relationships with Commercial and Distributor partners to support overall business performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with distributors to investigate and resolve claim discrepancies, helping reduce financial deductions and improve accuracy.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to address chargeback, membership, contracting, and rebate‑related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Review and interpret contract requirements to confirm customer eligibility and maintain alignment with approved pricing.
  • Provide management with updates on claim trends and contribute to the development of corrective action plans.
  • Recommend and support the implementation of process improvements that enhance data consistency and reduce recurring discrepancies.
  • Manage negotiations for outstanding distributor balances within established guidelines.
  • Handle customer eligibility inquiries and ensure proper documentation and follow‑through.
  • Contribute actively to team initiatives and collaborate effectively across different work environments.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Direct Order holds and reconciliation activities.
  • Monitor data to identify root‑cause issues and work cross‑functionally to drive timely resolution.
  • Demonstrate strong professional standards and collaborative behaviors that positively influence team performance and relationships with Commercial and Distributor partners.
  • Lead cross functional and publish a monthly heat map of top root causes (class of trade, late rosters, cross ref errors) and drive corrective actions to closure.
  •  Own Direct Order holds playbooks with measurable SLAs and financial impact tracking (aging, $ at risk).
  • Design and validate control enhancements (exception reports, maker checker) and manage UAT for chargeback rules and releases.
  • Monitor data to identify root-cause issues and work cross-functionally to drive timely resolution.
  • Demonstrate strong professional standards and collaborative behaviors that positively influence team performance and relationships with Commercial and Distributor partners.
  • Lead cross functional and publish a monthly heat map of top root causes (class of trade, late rosters, cross ref errors) and drive corrective actions to closure.

About you:

Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in contract administration, business analytics or a related field is required.
  • Pricing, contracting, and reimbursement experience.
  • Advanced English proficiency is required.
  • Experience in SAP and Vistex is preferred.
  • Experience in Power BI or similar analytic tools is preferred.
  • Proficiency in computer programs, i.e., Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, is required.
  • Superior attention to detail.
  • Inquisitive, driven by data, and focused on results.
  • Strong business acumen.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to initiate and lead projects to completion.
  • Ability to lead by example, with a "roll-up the sleeves", hands-on style that supports a culture of accountability.
  • Ability to work in a matrix environment where a high degree of collaboration is needed.
  • Familiar with variance analysis (price, mix, customer hierarchy, freight/fee impacts) and storytelling for executive updates.

Qualifications/Education:

  • B.S. degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Finance, Business, or related field.
