What You Will Do 

Perform calibration of gages, fixtures, instruments, and equipment in accordance with established procedures and quality standards 

Plan, estimate, construct, alter, repair, and inspect complex tools, gages, fixtures, models, and jigs in support of manufacturing and inspection operations 

Read and interpret procedures, blueprints, sketches, drawings, marked prints, piece samples, and technical specifications 

Conduct troubleshooting, design modifications, and correlation studies on tools, gages, and fixtures 

Select appropriate tooling, perform set-ups, and operate calibration, inspection, and toolroom equipment including ID/OD machines and related machinery 

Operate Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to perform dimensional inspections and validate tooling, gages, and fixtures 

Develop, edit, and troubleshoot PC-DMIS programs to support inspection requirements and ensure measurement accuracy 

Support flexible scheduling requirements, including shift adjustments and overtime, to maintain workflow and production demands

What You Will Learn 

Advanced aerospace calibration, inspection, and measurement systems within a state-of-the-art manufacturing environment 

CMM programming methodologies and best practices for complex tooling validation 

Aerospace quality standards and regulatory compliance processes 

Cross-functional collaboration across manufacturing, quality, and engineering teams 

Continuous improvement practices supporting operational excellence 

Qualifications You Must Have 

High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma (GED) 

5 years of experience in calibration, tool and gage making, or dimensional inspection 

Qualifications We Prefer 

3 years of experience operating Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) in a manufacturing environment 

2 years of experience programming in PC-DMIS 

Certificate or degree from a 1–2 year post-secondary school in Tool & Gage Making or a related technical field 

Demonstrated knowledge of advanced shop mathematics including trigonometry and geometry 

Certification and demonstrated experience using Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) 

Working knowledge of measuring and test equipment and ability to communicate technical information verbally and in writing

This is an onsite role located in North Berwick, Maine. Employees are expected to work primarily assigned facility. 

The hourly rate for this position is determined in accordance with applicable pay transparency regulations and will be based on experience, skills, education, and other relevant factors.
