This role reports into the Chief of Staff, Asia Pacific ex Japan

The region employs around 2,000 staff with operations in 6 jurisdictions: Hong Kong, Taiwan, Australia, Korea, Singapore, and Mainland China. The regional management hub is located in Hong Kong.

About your role


We are seeking a dynamic Business Manager to support the Chief of Staff, APAC ex Japan. This role plays a central part in running the region’s operating rhythm, governance processes, senior leadership engagement, and strategic initiatives. It requires strong organizational excellence, and the ability to work with pace, optimism and adaptability.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Chief of Staff in planning and managing the region’s operating and governance rhythm, including coordinating leadership meetings, annual and quarterly planning cycles, regional townhalls, and key executive forums end-to-end.
  • Ensure the timely delivery of reports, dashboards, and conduct business analysis to support senior decision-making working closely with various functions, in particular Distribution, Products, HR, Business Managers, and Business Finance teams.
  • Coordinate and execute executive-level events and leadership engagements, including agenda creation, logistics, briefing materials, speaker notes, and follow-up, partnering with Communications and Marketing
  • Support the execution of the regional management agenda through high-quality presentations, executive briefings, speaker notes, planning overseas visits (and visits from inbound executives).
  • Provide support for various Board duties and materials, as required
  • Participate in and support special projects assigned by the Chief of Staff, providing PMO structure through project planning, milestone tracking, stakeholder coordination, and preparation of updates for senior leadership.
  • Resolution of ad-hoc tactical issues: day-to-day business problem solving for fast paced execution

About you

  • Minimum 7 years of financial services experience in Asia Pacific, ideally supporting C-suite or working in an executive office.
  • Strong background in business management, project management, coordination, analysis, or strategy, with proven experience managing executive-level events.
  • Excellent communication skills, with strong PowerPoint capability; advanced Excel and AI-tool proficiency advantageous.
  • Strong English skills; Mandarin highly beneficial.
  • Proactive, positive presence, and strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence across all organizational levels.
  • Highly organized, curious, resourceful, and adaptable, with a strong growth mindset;
