Senior Business Execution Training Consultant - Payments Change Delivery

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Business Execution Consultant - Trainer to support the Payments Change Delivery (PCD) team within Payments Operations. This role leads the strategy, development, and delivery of training solutions that enable operational readiness for system enhancements and new implementations.


In this role, you will:

  • Consult with business leaders, managers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Subject Matter Experts to assess training needs and recommend learning solutions.
  • Lead end‑to‑end training execution including needs analysis, content design, development, validation, delivery, and evaluation.
  • Translate complex technical, operational, or regulatory information into clear, concise, and easy‑to‑understand training materials.
  • Develop training plans outlining objectives, modules, timelines, delivery methods, and success criteria.
  • Create user guides, job aids, instructor materials, and other resources to support operational readiness.
  • Facilitate training in virtual and in‑person settings for small and large audiences.
  • Monitor and assess training effectiveness through knowledge checks, surveys, performance results, and stakeholder feedback.
  • Provide recommendations on tools, templates, and methods that improve the scalability and quality of instructional materials.
  • Conduct research and analysis on business and operational initiatives to support data‑driven decision making.


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

Training & Instructional Design

  • 4+ years developing training content, technical documentation, or technical writing.
  • 4+ years delivering training in both virtual and in‑person environments.
  • Strong PowerPoint and presentation design skills.
  • Experience across the complete learning lifecycle: consultation, analysis, design, development, facilitation, and evaluation.

Industry & Technical Skills

  • Experience supporting financial services organizations; Payments Operations preferred.
  • Ability to simplify complex regulatory or technical content into learner‑centered experiences.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize data and produce actionable recommendations.

Leadership & Communication

  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or influencing team members in a matrixed environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including listening and questioning techniques.
  • Demonstrated relationship‑building skills, adaptability, and commitment to continuous improvement.

Job Expectations:

  • This position requires onsite presence at one of the listed locations under a hybrid work schedule.
  • Travel may be required based on business needs.

Pay Range
 

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$87,000.00 - $154,000.00
