Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS) Air Dominance (AD) F-15 Business Development and Strategy (BD&S) Team is seeking a Senior (Level 4 or 5) Business Development Representative to join the team in Berkeley MO. 

This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the F-15EX program and contribute to existing and future programs across the globe. 

This is an excellent knowledge and growth opportunity to gain exposure to all aspects of Business Development & Strategy and act as a Capture Team Leader for campaigns in a variety of different stages – keep it sold, sole-source follow-on work, and competitive pursuits – as well as work with other functions associated with running a multi-billion-dollar sales team.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Supports F-15 Business Development & Strategy leadership on long-range strategies, organizational goals, objectives and initiatives.  Works across a matrixed organization to balance enterprise, business unit, and customer goals.
  • Leverages detailed understanding of both customer and Boeing needs and resources to find areas of alignment and integration and drive sales and campaign activities to successful completion
  • Develops and executes campaign strategies using in-depth knowledge of customer needs, Boeing products and services and competitive environment to foster business growth with acceptable margins.  Facilitates development of export licensing to support FMS and DCS sales across the globe.
  • Leverages company resources to support customer commitments, gain a competitive advantage and foster business growth by using a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of multiple Boeing products and services, process and operations and resources. Integrates knowledge into business strategies and solutions.
  • Researches, reviews and analyzes information about competitors' products and services to develop a comprehensive understanding (breadth and depth) of specific competitor activities and their impact on company strategy to improve our competitive position.
  • Establishes a broad network of contacts and knowledge base to act as a broker of knowledge to multiple customer needs.
  • Provides guidance to more junior employees regarding capturing and documenting detailed customer knowledge and assists in network development.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.

This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 3+ years of experience collaborating with executives and portfolio leaders, product managers, product owners, finance experts and others to lead project
  • 3+ years of experience in customer-focused business development, commercial growth strategy, product development, and/or management consulting and business case development
  • 3+ years of experience in producing and presenting presentations at the Executive level
  • 3+ years of experience working with the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD)

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • 7+ years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher
  • Knowledge of Air Force Fighters programs, specific F-15 Platform knowledge preferred.
  • Experience with United States Air Force acquisition process
  • Experience working with international customers; particularly export licensing development and management

This position may require travel up to 20% of the time.

Summary pay range:

Level 4: $120,700 - $163,300

Level 5: $153,000 - $207,000
