Position Summary
The Senior Business Analyst Manager supports the Supply Chain Business Unit by leading financial planning, analysis, and performance management.
This role provides key financial insights to drive strategic and operational decisions, including quarterly budgeting, forecasting, and Long-Term Plan (LTP) development.
The position oversees the preparation and review of Weekly Indicator (WI) reports for P&L performance, manages cash flow and cost analysis, and monitors balance sheet items such as reserves and rebates.
It also collaborates closely with the Finance team on accounting treatment, audit queries, and business-related financial issues, while providing financial oversight and partnership support to the Business unit.
Key Deliverables
- Lead the quarterly budgeting and forecasting process, ensuring alignment with business and supply chain objectives.
- Support and coordinate the Long Term Plan (LTP) process in collaboration with the Business Unit and Finance.
- Prepare and review Weekly Indicator (WI) reports to track and analyze P&L performance trends.
- Conduct financial performance reviews (P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow) and provide variance analysis with actionable insights.
- Monitor cash flow and working capital, highlighting risks and opportunities for improvement.
- Review and manage balance sheet items including accruals, reserves, prepayments, and rebates.
- Partner with Finance on accounting treatment, reporting integrity, and responses to audit queries.
- Prepare management reports and dashboards with key business insights for leadership review.
- Collaborate closely with the Business Account Manager on business unit financial and tracking requirement
Decision-Making Scope
- Provides analytical and financial recommendations to the Senior Director, Supply Chain for strategic and operational decisions.
- Approves key assumptions and inputs for quarterly forecasts, budgets, and LTP submissions.
- Reviews and endorses major accounting entries and business adjustments in coordination with Finance.
- Recommends actions for cost optimization, margin improvement, and working capital efficiency.
- Advises management on the financial implications of supply chain strategies and initiatives.
- And, any other support and collaboration as required by BU management.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CFA) preferred.
- Minimum 8–10 years of progressive experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), business analysis, or related functions.
- Strong knowledge of P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow management, including reserves and rebate accounting.
- Experience in quarterly forecasting, budgeting, and LTP development.
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; proficiency with ERP and BI tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Power BI).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proven ability to collaborate across business units, finance, and operations.
