Senior Business Analyst

As a Senior Business Analyst reporting to a Product Lead, you’ll play a critical role in shaping and delivering Nasdaq’s Central Securities Depository (CSD) solution, supporting clients globally with market‑critical infrastructure across custody, settlement, corporate actions, and post‑trade services.

You’ll thrive in this position if you’re analytical, curious about technology, and comfortable working at the intersection of finance and IT. You bring a strong understanding of capital markets operations and enjoy collaborating in international, fast‑paced environments to deliver high‑impact solutions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Elicit, analyze, and document detailed business and system requirements from clients and internal stakeholders

  • Design functional solutions and translate business processes into clear, actionable requirements for development teams

  • Partner closely with software developers and QA engineers to ensure accurate implementation of client requirements

  • Support infrastructure upgrades and system replacements to align with international market standards

  • Engage with clients and stakeholders through product demos, training sessions, and ongoing solution discussions

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

  • Several years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar client‑facing role within financial services

  • Strong understanding of CCP and/or CSD operations and the end‑to‑end transaction lifecycle

  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to document and present business processes clearly

  • Strong communication skills and experience working in collaborative, cross‑functional environments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in capital markets, fintech, or other regulated financial environments

  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and product‑driven development teams

  • Exposure to international clients and cross‑border collaboration

This position will be located in Vilnius and offers the opportunity for a hybrid work environment, with at least 3 days per week in the office, subject to change, providing flexibility and accessibility for qualified candidates.
