Job Description:

This role is working fully remote. You must be eligible to gain Security Clearance.

What you’ll be doing

  • leading requirements gathering activities and translating business needs into clear technical specifications aligned to project objectives
  • mapping processes, reviewing controls and identifying opportunities for improvement or change
  • collaborating with operational, project and IT teams to analyse problems, design fit‑for‑purpose solutions and guide documentation development
  • facilitating workshops, working groups and stakeholder sessions to align requirements, validate approaches and support decision‑making
  • managing stakeholder relationships across departments, suppliers and clients to ensure clarity, progress and high‑quality deliverables
  • contributing to project artefacts, resource plans and supporting or coaching Business Analysts and Junior BAs where required

What we’re looking for

Essential

  • strong experience as a Business Analyst within public services, including direct involvement in government contracts or government‑funded programmes
  • proven ability to deliver successful projects, with a track record in requirements gathering, analysis and process improvement
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to work with senior stakeholders and cross‑functional teams
  • solid understanding of business process modelling, including experience with techniques such as BPMN
  • the ability to manage multiple projects independently, with strong organisational and time‑management skills
  • proficiency in tools such as Process Modelling software, Visio, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word

Desirable

  • Current Security Clearance
