The Role:
We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join our Finance team at Baxter. In this role, you will have the chance to partner closely with Business Leaders by providing financial expertise and solutions to achieve commercial business objectives.
As a member of the Finance ANZ team, you will work with the Associate Director to develop and evaluate business strategies for assigned Divisions in ANZ. You will also take part in projects focused on Continuous Improvement and Digital Transformation in a dynamic commercial environment.

Responsibilities:
Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data, market trends, and competitor performance to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
Collaborate with key individuals to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives that drive business results
Design and implement efficient and effective financial models, forecasts, and reporting tools to support decision-making processes
Lead cross-functional teams in execution of complex projects, ensuring detailed execution and timely delivery
Provide actionable insights and recommendations to senior leadership based on thorough analysis and interpretation of financial data
Stay informed on industry trends, regulatory changes, and effective methods to consistently enhance financial processes and systems
Mentor and coach junior analysts, fostering their professional growth and development.
Requirements:
Tertiary degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
5 years + experience within the Pharmaceutical or Medical Device industries
Proven experience in data warehousing, reporting, analytics tools, and visualisation technologies, such as SQL, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, Cognos, and JDE
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, able to resolve root causes and develop innovative solutions
Solid understanding of financial modeling, forecasting, and reporting techniques
Strong communication and presentation skills are required, with the ability to effectively explain complex financial concepts
Motivated and goal-oriented individual, with a track record of working autonomously and achieving outcomes in a dynamic work setting.
