About the Role

The Head of Programme Governance & IT Finance is a senior leadership role responsible for overseeing the governance framework of strategic programs and managing the financial operations of the IT department. This role ensures alignment with business strategy, financial integrity, and delivery excellence across the technology portfolio.

Programme Governance

• Own and maintain the governance framework for strategic programs.
• Ensure alignment of project and program objectives with business strategy.
• Standardize delivery processes across the organization.
• Coordinate reporting and compliance with governance standards.
• Chair or participate in Program Steering Committees and governance forums.
• Monitor risks, benefits realization, and strategic direction of programs.

IT Financial Oversight

• Act as Financial Controller for all technology budgets, including strategic projects.
• Manage cost centers, monthly financial analysis, forecasting, and reporting.
• Oversee vendor financial issues including payments, contracts, and cost recovery.
• Coordinate with legal, finance, and sourcing teams for financial governance.
• Ensure financial compliance and optimization of IT expenditures.

Additional Responsibilities

• Develop technology roadmaps and business cases for strategic initiatives.
• Report to the Technology Committee and senior leadership on program and financial performance.
• Oversee workforce planning across local and outsourced teams.
• Support staffing and resource management aligned to program needs.
