ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Leads requirements gathering, analysis, and documentation for complex and enterprise-level IT initiatives. 30%
Collaborates with product owners, architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure solutions align with business needs and technical standards. 25%
Analyzes current business processes, identifies gaps, and recommends improvements to increase efficiency and scalability. 20%
Provides mentorship and guidance to business analysts, sharing best practices and supporting skill development. 10%
Facilitates stakeholder alignment, prioritization, and governance processes for requirements. 10%
Contributes to enterprise BA practices, tools, and continuous improvement initiatives. 5%
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
Certificate(s) or License(s): CBAP required; Agile/Scrum certification preferred.
Years of experience: 5-7 years of IT business analysis experience, including work on enterprise-level initiatives
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
Advanced knowledge of business analysis methodologies and frameworks (Agile, Waterfall, hybrid).
Proven ability to lead complex requirements efforts, including facilitation of cross-functional workshops.
Strong communication and leadership skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
Ability to analyze complex systems and data flows to design effective requirements strategies.
Proficiency with BA and portfolio tools (Jira, ADO, Confluence, Visio, Planview, or equivalent).
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with ability to anticipate risks and dependencies.
Demonstrated leadership ability to mentor analysts, guide process improvements, and foster accountability in requirements delivery.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
Minimal travel (0–15%) may be required for project, team, or dept. meeting.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Frequent sitting and computer use.
Availability and ability to work after hours, weekends, holidays, etc. as needed, to be on call and/or to fulfill job responsibilities and requirements.
