The BI Data Analyst is a key part of this mission and is accountable for the delivery and management of accounts data insights. TaDS BI team has been established to meet the overall account goals for data insights and align with client expectations by enabling data driven decisions.

The Senior BI & Automation Analyst is the owner of the APAC Smartsheet and Data Program processes. This role is designed for a business-savvy professional who bridges the gap between complex operations and data-driven storytelling. In addition to core BI functions, this role leads the AI-native transformation of the account, utilizing automation and advanced technical workflows to drive regional data governance and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities include:

Regional Program & Project Ownership

  • Serve as the primary APAC lead for the Smartsheet environment and Data Program processes.
  • Develop and implement data-related project management strategies to ensure consistent regional delivery.

AI-Native Automation & Tool Development

  • Workflow Architecting: Design and deploy automated tools (using App Script, Gemini/AI, and APIs) to eliminate manual data handling between Google Ecosystems (Sheets, Slides, Drive).
  • Process Engineering: Proactively identify manual bottlenecks and build "one-click" solutions to increase team productivity (e.g., automated slide generation from trackers).
  • AI Integration: Act as the subject matter expert for integrating AI tools into daily operations to ensure the team stays "AI-native."

Data Governance & Regional Integration

  • Data Governance: Lead the data quality uplift for the APACregion, ensuring integrated data entry and strict adherence to governance standards.
  • Integrity Oversight: Ensure a "single source of truth" across diverse regional data sources (APIs, spreadsheets, forms) by enforcing rigorous validation logic.

Visualization & Business Intelligence

  • Design and maintain sophisticated dashboards in Looker, translating regional business requirements into actionable visual insights
  • Collaborate with service line owners to identify the "why" behind the data to support regional decision-making.

Tactical Operations & Support

  • Buganizer Management: Act as the primary owner of the TaDS Buganizer component, serving as the single source for bug tracking and enhancement SLA information.
  • Smartsheet Support: Provide expert-level architecture and troubleshooting for the account’s Smartsheet environment.
  • Change Management: Drive user adoption of BI tools through training and the development of intuitive forms.

Team Collaboration:

  • Work harmoniously with BI engineers and other team members to achieve optimal outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Technical: Expert Smartsheet architecture, Looker visualization, and proven ability to build automation tools (App Script/JavaScript/AI-prompt engineering).
  • Business Context: Deep knowledge of site operations with the ability to "reverse engineer" desired business outcomes into technical workflows.
  • Governance Mindset: Strong attention to detail regarding data quality and regional compliance.
  • Communication: Ability to present technical automation benefits to non-technical leadership
