Senior Automation Engineer, Actimize

So, what’s the role all about?

As a Senior Automation Engineer with strong fundamentals in you will play a key role in shaping the quality of our applications and maintaining a seamless customer experience by identifying issues early and reducing manual testing efforts. You will be responsible for developing platform for Actimize cloud-based solutions and to work with cutting edge cloud technologies. The ideal candidate is hands‑on, passionate about automation, engineering excellence, and comfortable working across backend systems with optional exposure to modern frontend frameworks. 

How will you make an impact?  

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks for AI-based applications.
• Collaborate with data scientists, developers, and product managers to understand requirements and define test strategies.
• Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing.
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
• Analyze test results, identify root causes, and work with developers to resolve issues.
• Ensure high test coverage and maintain test documentation.
• Contribute to best practices in automation
• Work with Scrum Team, as well as internal and external stakeholders, to influence and drive decision making and support organizational project or product teams.
• Contribute to the advancement and improvement of Agile practices within the organization.

Have you got what it takes?

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in QA with a strong focus on automation
• Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks such as Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, or Cypress.
• Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java or JavaScript.
• Experience testing AI/ML-based systems or data-driven applications.
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with REST APIs, JSON, and Postman.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent analytical and debugging skills
• Experience working with LLMs
• Experience with Agentic AI frameworks
• Strong problem-solving and system design skills
• Good communication with peers, subordinates and managers

You will have an advantage if you also have:

• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)
• Docker (containerization)
• Jenkins (CI/CD pipelines)
• Experience in financial services or compliance domains.
• Exposure to testing data pipelines, model outputs, and AI explainability.
• Knowledge of performance testing tools like JMeter or Gatling
