Job Summary

As a Senior IT Auditor specializing in IT General Controls (ITGC), you will play a critical role in evaluating and strengthening the IT control environment across global operations, with a focus on SOX 404 compliance. This position is integral to ensuring the integrity, security, and reliability of systems supporting semiconductor manufacturing, R&D, and supply chain operations.
 

Key Responsibilities

• Perform SOX 404 controls assessment for IT controls, including access management, change management, and system operations.
• Collaborate with IT, business process owners, and external auditors to assess risks and recommend control improvements.
• Evaluate IT controls supporting manufacturing execution systems (MES), product lifecycle management (PLM), and other semiconductor tools.
• Document audit findings, prepare detailed reports, and present results to senior management and external auditors.
• Conduct walkthroughs, interviews, and evidence reviews to assess control design and operational effectiveness.
• Provide insights into industry best practices and IT control standards to help management enhance processes and controls, ensuring effective mitigation of SOX-related risks
• Support remediation efforts for control deficiencies and monitor progress.
• Stay current with emerging technologies (e.g., AI in chip design, cloud-based fab systems, cybersecurity) and assess their impact on IT controls.
• May travel to domestic and international sites, including fabs, R&D centers, and corporate offices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, or related field
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in IT auditing, with a focus on ITGC and SOX compliance.
• Professional certifications such as CISA, CPA or CIA preferred.
• Strong understanding of IT frameworks (COBIT, NIST, ISO 27001), SOX requirements, and semiconductor industry systems.
• Knowledge of SOX business process and controls testing is a plus.
• Experience auditing ERP systems (SAP ECC/S4), MES, PLM, and other semiconductor-specific platforms
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and audit tools such as AuditBoard
• Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a global, cross-functional environment.
• Flexible to work across time zones and adapt to changing priorities.​
