At PwC, our people in deals focus on providing strategic advice and support to clients in areas such as mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, and restructuring. They help clients navigate complex transactions and maximise value in their business deals.The Senior Associate plays a critical role in delivering high-quality financial analysis and modelling support across transactions and strategic advisory engagements. The role involves the development and review of robust, dynamic, and decision-oriented financial models that inform the investment, valuation, financing, infrastructure, and capital allocation decisions.
The role requires strong technical modelling skills, commercial acumen, and the ability to translate complex transaction structures into clear, well-documented financial outputs. The Senior Associate operates with increasing autonomy, contributes meaningfully to client deliverables, and supports Managers and Senior Managers in delivering engagements that meet both client expectations and PwC’s professional quality standards.
Qualifications, Experience & Knowledge
Educational and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering or a related quantitative discipline.
Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CFA, ACA, CIFA or equivalent) – completed or in progress.
Strong foundation in financial accounting, corporate finance and valuation principles.
Experience & knowledge
Typically, 3–5 years of experience in financial modelling, transaction services, corporate finance, investment banking, valuations, or consulting.
Demonstrated experience building and reviewing complex financial models in a transaction or advisory environment.
Good understanding of M&A processes, transaction lifecycle, and transaction documentation.
Working knowledge of financial reporting standards and their impact on financial modelling.
Experience working in multi-disciplinary and multicultural teams, preferably across multiple geographies.

Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with modelling best practices and auditability.
