POSITION SUMMARY:

With limited supervision, the Senior Associate, Instructional Designer is responsible for the identification, analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation of learning solutions that improve employee performance and retention enabling BAYADA Home Health Care to meet its business objectives and outcomes.  

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Exemplifies characteristics of The BAYADA Way: compassion, excellence, and reliability.
  • Four (4) year college degree required.
  • Minimum of seven (7) years’ experience in a corporate learning capacity, developing and/or sourcing, implementing, and measuring learning programs using a variety of learning technologies and methodologies.
  • Health Care work experience preferred; knowledge of BAYADA service office processes helpful but not required.
  • Proficient with rapid courseware development tools (Storyline 360, Camtasia, PowToon, Vyond).
  • Ability to apply common Instructional Design principles to learning, such as: Andragogy, Blooms Taxonomy, ADDIE, and SAM.
  • Maintains solid project management skills; able to manage multiple projects with competing priorities while and meeting deadlines. Experience with project management tools such as Trello or Smartsheets is preferred but not required.
  • Experience with LMS systems/platforms.
  • Possesses a strong attention to detail and positive attitude.
  • Has worked on cross functional teams.
  • Experience working with vendors and ability to form positive vendor relationships strongly preferred.
  • Able to arrange information and files in an organized manner. Experience with shared/cloud storage, such as SharePoint, MS Teams and OneDrive is helpful but not required.
  • Demonstrates excellent leadership, interpersonal, and motivational skills.
  • Proven record of goal achievement; successfully takes on more responsibility with positive results and ambition to grow past current position.

What You’ll Do

  • Align leadership development programs with business performance using BAYADA’s five-pillar performance framework
  • Support the design and development of learning experiences grounded in adult learning principles
  • Partner with enterprise and practice executive leaders
  • Coordinate programs including communications, facilitator support, and vendor management
  • Evaluate program effectiveness and drive scalable improvements
