What You Will Achieve
The Acquisitions, Divestitures and Reorganizations (ADR) function within the Process, Platform and Analytics and Insights (PPAI) Team in Source to Pay (S2P), is responsible for ensuring coordinated support for our S2P teams as they relate to all business transformation activities, and also for key strategic projects working closely with our partners in the Transformation & Project Management and Digital teams to ensure an effective delivery model to these projects.
For this position, it is required to have a full understanding of the end-to-end S2P Processes and ability to identify and resolve S2P related issues. The ability to manage projects, create processes and provide clear guidance to our partners or clients is critical.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience related to acquisitions, divestitures and business transformation, along with strong project management skills. This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and the Digital organization to ensure timely, high-quality delivery of S2P objectives that support business transformation goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Project Leadership: Lead, manage and contribute to projects supporting acquisitions and divestitures, managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communications. Develop and maintain project plans, status updates, and task lists.
- Transition Management: Coordinate and execute the migration of procurement, contracting, vendor purchase order creation, and invoice approval processes from legacy platforms to approved S2P systems (e.g., SAP Ariba). Understand, gather, and transfer process procedures (e.g. escheatment process, 1099 data, TRAX). Ensure all spend activities comply with company purchasing policies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Engage directly with business partners and customers on complex activities and deliverables. Provide training and hypercare support to facilitate smooth transitions for impacted colleagues and suppliers.
- Process Optimization: Identify, propose, and implement process improvements and standardization opportunities. Participate in global initiatives to enhance S2P processes and technology. Actively support GBS value proposition by keeping processes aligned with our delivery model and global standard, adhering to our internal control's structures, and helping to identify process improvement opportunities.
- Compliance & Controls: Ensure proper documentation of all transactions to support business transformation, audits, and historical financial inquiries.
- Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to address integration challenges, maintain compliance, and optimize operational efficiency. Work closely with a high-performing team of sourcing team members to support the sourcing function, provide insights and recommendations that inform strategic decision-making. Mentor and review the work of colleagues, fostering collaboration and alignment.
- Reporting & Analytics: Prepare and review financial reports and analyses, support the migration of management reports related to integration activities, and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs).
Qualifications
Must-Have
- Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Statistics, Operations Research, Business, Computer Science, Operations & Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline
- 3+ years of experience in S2P, procurement, or finance operations, with mergers and acquisitions experience preferred
- Experience in project management and/or tech product management
- Demonstrated proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Ariba, MDGs, Service Now, Concur, Teams, etc.)
- Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams
- Approachability to produce high-quality, timely outcomes

- Analytical thinking and data interpretation skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Experience in multinationals, shared services, or finance-related environments

- Ability to positively influence both direct and indirect team members, as well as key stakeholders, fostering collaboration and alignment
- English language fluency
Preferred
- Project Management certification is a plus
- Pharmaceutical industry experience
- Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) applications and products
- Strong business acumen and understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting requirements
