As a wholly-owned subsidiary of NTU and a key innovation driver under NTU I&E, NTUitive oversees the cultivation of startups and spin-offs, as well as the related investments. We are seeking a Programme Manager (Senior Assistant Manager) at NTUitive to lead the day-to-day operations and ecosystem engagement for a high-profile deep tech commercialization programme. This role plays a pivotal part in preparing Singapore’s top science entrepreneurs for global commercialisation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Pre-Programme Operations & Ecosystem Activation

  • Design and plan each programme run to ensure clarity of objectives, timelines, and outcomes.Organise national outreach activities, including roadshows, webinars, and ecosystem engagements to attract top-quality applicants.

  • Host deep tech mixers to help founders meet, match, and form strong venture teams.

  • Liaise with NTU colleges, NGRIP labs, and other innovation units in Singapore to identify promising technologies and recruit founders and research talent.

  • Conduct mentor and team matching to form high-potential venture groups.

  • Oversee all admission-related administrative processes to ensure a seamless onboarding experience.

2. Programme Planning & Execution

  • Manage day-to-day operations of the cohort management, including interactions with programme partners, instructors, venture builders, founders, and mentors.

  • Coordinate learning modules, expert sessions, industry visits, and milestone reviews to ensure teams remain on track.

  • Facilitate communication and collaboration across all stakeholder groups, ensuring timely updates and aligned expectations.

  • Track founder’s learning progress and work with instructors/mentors to optimise development and commercialisation outcomes.

3. Tracking, Reporting & Post-Programme Success

  • Maintain an up-to-date programme database for performance tracking, assessment, and reporting to management and funding partners.

  • Lead post-programme feedback processes and conduct structured debriefs to enhance future programme design.

  • Track the commercialisation progress of fellows and teams after programme completion—including pilot projects, partnerships, fundraising status, and venture milestones.

  • Identify networking, investor, and funding opportunities for alumni teams, leveraging the broader innovation ecosystem.

  • Maintain a robust and current database of instructors, advisors, and mentors to support ongoing performance evaluation.

  • Work closely with the communications team to curate stories, success cases, and marketing content that highlight programme impact.

4. Additional Contributions

  • Participate in cross-office initiatives that enhance NTU’s innovation ecosystem.

  • Support ad-hoc projects that strengthen Singapore’s deep tech and entrepreneurship landscape.

What You Bring Must-Have Qualifications

  • Degree holder with relevant experience in programme management, innovation ecosystems, R&D environments, entrepreneurship, or stakeholder engagement.

  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities, with a track record of managing multiple workstreams in fast-paced settings.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders—from scientists to industry leaders to international partners.

  • Comfortable with administrative processes, project tracking, and developing structured reports.

Good-to-Have

  • Experience in deep tech, research commercialization, venture building, or startup acceleration.

  • Familiarity with the Singapore innovation ecosystem.

  • Prior exposure to managing educational or hybrid programmes.

  • Experience working with global partners or international cohorts.
