Senior Anti Money Laundering Analysts investigate and monitor suspicious financial activities. Their role is essential as they ensure their company complies with AML regulations. Companies without Anti-Money Laundering Analysts are vulnerable to AML penalties.   

  

Sorting out the 'legitimate' from the 'illegitimate' transactions might be difficult for financial institutions, so investing in the technology to help AML analysts is critical for efficient and successful detection and investigation. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor transactions for suspicious trends. 

  • Conduct due diligence on suspicious accounts. 

  • Report activity to other employers. 

  • Ensure all transactions are in compliance with financial regulations. 

  • Oversee a database of financial transactions. 

  • Investigating and assessing the financial risks posed by a company's operations and monitoring/regulating high-risk activities. 

  • Communicating with regulators and auditors regularly to explain their risk monitoring, control, and prioritization techniques.  

  • Reporting information that illustrates the organization's overall performance in terms of risk mitigation. 

  • Examining data and solutions to verify all AML regulations are met. 

  • Other duties as assigned. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in finance or economics. 

  • Investigative skills. 

  • Experience with regulatory and compliance management. 

  • Strong communication abilities. 

  • Ability to multi-task, set priorities and adhere to deadlines. 

  • Understand and demonstrate the importance of financial compliance. 

  • Attention to detail. 

  • Analytical, oral, and written communication skills. 

  • Proficiency: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat.  

Nice to have:  

  • Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains.   

  • General passion and knowledge of fintech and cryptocurrency. 

Annual Base Salary: $75,000-$85,000 USD
