Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Senior Tax Analyst to join our team in Mississauga, ON.

This position is responsible for supporting the NCI Tax Department, reporting to the Manager, Corporate Taxation. The incumbent is responsible for preparing and filing tax returns, preparing tax provisions, researching tax issues, assisting with audits, and other tax projects as they arise.

A Day in the Life:

  • Prepare and file Canadian tax returns and other filings for corporations, partnerships, and trusts.

  • Prepare monthly and year-end income tax provisions; perform general ledger and tax rate reconciliations; assist with current and deferred tax analysis.

  • Conduct tax research, summarize findings, draft technical memos, and maintain documentation to support company tax positions and law/regulation changes.

  • Support external audits (including provisions for local statutory financial statements) and income tax audits by CRA and provincial authorities, review government correspondence and draft responses.

  • Prepare monthly tax instalments and cash tax forecasts; assist with tax planning and identifying cash tax saving opportunities.

Who We’re Looking for:

Required:

  • 3–5 years of Canadian corporate tax experience with strong knowledge of the Income Tax Act and working knowledge of IFRS.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel emphasis); experience with ERP/financial systems (SAP an asset); excellent documentation and organizational skills to maintain audit‑ready files.

  • Strong oral and written communication, advocacy, collaboration, and presentation skills; effective at working cross‑functionally (Finance, Purchasing, Legal, and operations).

  • Ability to perform work onsite at NCI Head Office – Mississauga; ability to manage multiple/conflicting deadlines; infrequent overnight travel.

Desired:

  • Automotive/retail industry experience; captive finance tax experience.

  • Experience with internal audit/JSOX compliance on income tax policies and procedures.

  • Experience supporting CRA and provincial income tax audits and external statutory audits.

  • Experience preparing tax provisions for local statutory financial statements.

  • Hands‑on SAP experience.

Salary Range:

$91,573.00 - $119,436.00

This compensation range represents the minimum to midpoint base salary rates at Nissan for jobs assigned to this particular grade level. Please note that an employee’s base salary may occasionally be set above the midpoint of the salary band for this grade level, in recognition of the employee’s unique skills, work experience, education, work location, or market conditions. Compensation decisions also consider internal equity and comparisons with the base salary rates of other employees with similar backgrounds working in comparable roles. Note: Bonus, benefits, and other forms of variable compensation are not included in the base-salary range shown above.
