SaskEnergy is seeking a qualified and motivated individual to join our team. The Senior Analyst, System Support provides expertise and support to users of financial, human resources, work management and/or customer systems as it relates to Corporate processes, ensuring data integrity, timely customer service and that internal processes and systems are in compliance with policies, union agreements and legislative and regulatory requirements.  This includes developing processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of information management.

Position Details

  • Non-union. This position is temporary full time for up to 12 months.

Key Accountabilities

  • Provide expertise and support to users of various systems as it relates to departmental processes, ensuring timely customer service.

  • Act as the functional lead, working with the technical team to address questions, issues, developments and changes brought forward by users.

  • Lead the on-going maintenance and audit of system data as it relates to departmental processes, ensuring data integrity and timely customer service.

  • Develop processes and systems to improve efficiency and effectiveness of information systems, ensuring internal processes and systems are in compliance with policies, union agreements and legislative and regulatory requirements.

  • Perform subject matter expert role on project teams in the development of system requirements for new applications or modules as well as upgrades and enhancements to existing applications or modules.

  • Create, revise, test and analyze reports and documentation, ensuring accurate and timely information is delivered.

  • Analyze the alignment of other information systems needs and system capabilities and identify and recommend solutions for optimizing processes and system utilization.

  • Other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

  • Degree in Business Administration or Computer Science.

  • Three (3) years experience working with integrated information systems and databases, including analytics and advanced reporting tools.

  • Experience using the Workday HRMS would be an asset.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 

  • Ability to work on a team while building and maintaining effective relationships.

  • Must have a continuing record of professional development and continuous learning.
