Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Senior Analyst, Supply Chain Compliance to join our team in Smyrna, TN.
As a Supply Chain Compliance Analyst, you’ll leverage your existing comprehensive knowledge of NNA’s (Nissan North America) core supply chain, quality, purchasing, and development practices with the latest in data science, statistical modeling, cutting-edge software, and AI to optimize NNA’s supply chain operations for legal and ethical compliance to existing and emerging US and International law.
Your work will assure NNA has a resilient, secure and sustainable supply chain. You’ll develop, maintain, and apply an up-to-date understanding of the applicable regulatory guidance so that you can diligently analyze vendor and bill of material data for reconciliation to Nissan’s core values, policies, and guidelines.
A Day in the Life:
Maintains and applies regulatory expertise in supplier solicitations regarding vendor Tier N information for foreign and domestic content of imported, exported and domestically procured service and production parts and NNA-produced vehicles.
Review and analyzes for actual or potential adverse impacts on human rights throughout the supply chain.
Recommends, establishes, implements, monitors, revises and interprets departmental and cross functional procedures to ensure import and export of foreign goods in compliance with applicable federal laws and regulations.
Implements preventative and remedial measures to address risks.
Monitor and report on measures taken to address risks.
Coordinate with outsourced services to develop and continuously improve the existing due diligence processes while ensuring strategic alignment to broader compliance and sustainability matters impacting NNA.
Communicates compliance requirements effectively to stakeholders.
Prepares system enhancement requests and problem reports.
Prepares detailed specification documents for IS/IT projects to streamline processes with greater scale and efficiency.
Coordinates system enhancements and provides project support and analysis for system related projects.
Coordinates with domestic and foreign NML (Japan) personnel, other SCM, NPO, and PQE analysts & engineers.
Interfaces with external service providers and parts vendors professionally and with great discernment and care.
Supports other Supply Chain Compliance, Legal, Risks, Customs and Trade, and SCM Innovations operation staff and coordinates to identify and implement operational synergies and efficiencies.
Monitor industry trends, regulations, and best practices related to supply chain compliance.
Develops supportive scorecards, standards, & protocols as needed within Supply Chain Compliance to aid in the regular reporting and governance of the department.
As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above are representative.
Who We’re Looking for:
Required:
Five or more years of supply chain or operations experience at a professional level.
A bachelor's degree or higher. Human Rights or legal is preferred.
Understanding of Tier N supply chains typical of manufacturing industries (Dept of Defense, Aerospace, Healthcare, or Automotive).
Experience in Human Rights due diligence (UN, OECD, CSDDD, UFLPA).
Ability to perform work onsite at Smyrna, TN.
Desired:
Experience with supply chain resiliency tools.
Knowledge of CSCC, BOM, DCC, PSW, and International Logistics is desired.
Experience with process improvement of workstreams (research, benchmarking, etc.)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical, change management, and project management skills
Ability to understand technical attributes of mass production parts and the associated manufacturing processes.
Ability to work and deliver timely results with an ethical mindset under limited supervision required.
MBA degree is a plus.
Participation with civil society organizations is desired.
