Position Summary

The Senior Analyst, Retail Pharmacy Layout and Design is responsible for developing and managing pharmacy layout designs that support initiatives and projects impacting the appearance, functionality, and operations of our retail pharmacies.

Under the direction of the Manager of Retail Pharmacy Layout, this role evaluates operational needs, building standards, state Board of Pharmacy requirements, municipal codes, and current pharmacy design standards to deliver compliant, effective layout solutions. The position translates operational requirements into data-driven insights and recommendations that improve workflow efficiency, optimize space utilization, and increase pharmacy capacity.

The Senior Analyst also develops and maintains layout health metrics and partners cross-functionally to standardize and scale solutions across the retail fleet, while collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to conduct analyses, develop recommendations, and communicate findings.

In this role you can expect to:

  • Analyze and interpret data from multiple sources to support layout decisions.
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently to meet timelines and support cross-functional partners.
  • Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, with internal teams, field leadership, and external vendors.
  • Support pilot testing and rollout of new layout concepts
  • Evaluate pharmacy layouts and space constraints to identify opportunities for efficiency, capacity growth, and improved team experience.



Required Qualifications

  • 2+ years of experience in plan development.
  • 2+ years of experience with MS Office applications (e.g., Excel and Word).
  • 2+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy environment.
  • Ability to travel occasionally for field and corporate collaboration.
  • Ability to follow clear, concise direction with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% based on the needs of the business.


Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in plan development.
  • 5+ years of experience using AutoCAD design software.
  • 5+ years of experience with MS Office applications (e.g., Excel and Word).
  • 5+ years of experience working in a retail pharmacy.
  • 3+ years of commercial retail design experience.
  • Master’s degree (preferred).

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (required).

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$46,988.00 - $112,200.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
