You will be part of a collaborative and growing team dedicated to supporting the administration of pension plan windups for insolvent/bankrupt companies, where your strong analytical skills and data management expertise will play a central role. You will ensure large and complex datasets—such as member records, plan assets, and actuarial inputs—are accurately maintained, validated, and reconciled to support benefit calculations, regulatory reporting, and wind‑up activities. Your work will strengthen the accuracy and integrity of pension plan information, enabling regulators, trustees, actuaries, and legal professionals to make informed decisions while delivering timely, compliant, and high‑quality service to plan members and clients.

You will contribute to the team’s success by managing and reconciling pension data, coordinating information across stakeholders, preparing member communications and benefit calculations, and ensuring all administrative tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time.
What you’ll do
Manage, validate, clean and reconcile, large and complex pension datatsets using Excel, pension database, and other analytical tools.
Use advanced Excel skills (including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, and data‑quality checks) to support calculations, reconciliations, and reporting.
Work with pension administration systems and database tools to maintain accurate member and asset records.
Support data preparation for actuarial valuations, wind‑up submissions, and regulatory filings by ensuring completeness, accuracy, and consistency.
Calculate and verify benefit payments in accordance with plan rules and legislation.
Prepare member option forms, statements, and other communications with a high degree of accuracy.
Respond to member and regulatory client inquiries, providing clear and professional information.
Coordinate information flow between legal teams, actuaries, trustees, and regulatory stakeholders.
Assist in reviewing and verifying work completed by team members to ensure data integrity and compliance
Train and support new analysts on data processes, insolvency procedures, and pension administration tasks.
Participate in team meetings, contribute to process improvements, and assist with special projects involving data analysis or system enhancements.
Continue building technical knowledge through internal training, including exposure to programming or automation tools where applicable.
Ensure quality control and service standards are met for all transactions
Adhere to internal risk‑management policies
You have
Post-secondary education in mathematics, finance, economics, business, or related analytical field.
Experience working with large datasets using Excel, databases, or other analytical tools within pension administration or a similar data‑focused environment.

Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with databases or analytical tools.
Clear, professional communication and the ability to collaborate effectively within a team.

Experience with programming or automation tools (e.g., VBA, Python, or Power Query) to streamline data processes.
Familiarity with pension administration systems or financial databases
Salary Range: $50,000 - $65,000
Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience.
