Position Summary: Senior Analyst, Product Analytics and Surveillance
We have an exciting opportunity at CVS Health for a Senior Analyst-level role. As a Senior Analyst of Product Analytics and Surveillance, you will play a pivotal role in driving operational excellence across our Prescription Benefit Management (PBM) Formulary and Product Operations. This team focuses on root cause analysis, solution ideation, design, and testing to optimize product performance and operational efficiency.
You will lead initiatives that analyze business challenges, develop actionable insights, and present strategic recommendations to Product Owners. Your work will directly influence the direction of new operational programs and contribute to the long-term success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Partner with cross-functional teams and product owners to translate strategies into measurable KPIs and metrics.
Lead the design and execution of complex analyses using data sourced through observations, interviews, tests, and custom data pulls.
Conduct root cause investigations and develop data-driven solutions to resolve operational issues.
Drive the development of test plans, implementation strategies, and course-corrective actions as needed.
Establish methodologies to measure the impact of pilots and programs, identifying data gaps and partnership needs.
Create and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor program performance using leading and lagging indicators.
Present insights and recommendations in a clear, compelling narrative that resonates with stakeholders across varying levels of technical expertise.
Manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously with a high level of attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in a high-level analytical or operational role in healthcare or PBM.
Proficiency in SQL and/or self-service BI tools for data mining and analysis.
Strong working knowledge of MS Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Word.
Education
Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree preferred.

The typical pay range for this role is:
$46,988.00 - $122,400.00This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
