The Senior Analyst, Pricing & Submissions will lead public and private payer submissions, retail RFP analysis, and pricing strategy for brand and generic products. This role partners with Market Access, Trade, Finance, and Pricing Committees to secure optimal reimbursement and maintain competitive pricing.
Key responsibilities for this role include:
Public & Private Payer Submissions
Prepare and submit reimbursement applications to CDA, ACDR, INESSS, and provincial payers for new and existing products.
Monitor and track submission status, approvals, and deficiency notices; communicate updates to stakeholders within 48 hours.
Submit product monograph updates and notify payers of changes (e.g., manufacturer name, chemistry).
Track formulary additions, deletions, and price changes.
Coordinate pCPA and provincial pricing submissions for market entry/exit initiatives.
Retail/hospital RFP Analysis
Collaborate with Trade team to analyze RFPs and pricing requests.
Prepare quarterly rebate reports for Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs); ensure timely payments in collaboration with Finance and Global Business Units
Review customer rebate structures and track performance.
Analyze awards and recommend strategic pricing adjustments.
Pricing Governance
Submit pricing and rate updates in SAP and ensure timely execution with Financial Master Data.
Coordinate internal pricing approvals with Pricing Committee.
Track provincial formulary price changes and submit updates in SAP and global platform (MyIRP).
Other
Maintain and update customer master records in SAP.
Prepare ad hoc reports and support cross-functional projects as required.
The minimum qualifications for this role are:
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and 3–5 years of pharmaceutical industry experience.
Minimum 2–3 years in market access, submissions, or pricing.
Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint; SAP experience preferred.
High level of confidentiality and professionalism.
