About the Role:
As a Senior Price Reporter, you will be responsible for collecting, verifying, and publishing price and market data to provide transparency and insights for decision-making. You will produce accurate price assessments, monitor trends, and contribute to analytical reporting to support business and market stakeholders. You will be part of the Energy team and report directly to the Associate Director of Content
You Will:
Gather, validate, and maintain Recycled plastics pricing and market data in Asia from internal and external sources, managing moderately complex issues and projects independently.
Monitor trends, market dynamics, and regulatory changes that impact pricing, handling moderately complex cases and recommending practical solutions.
Use Dow Jones Energy pricing methodology to publish weekly recycled plastics price assessments.
Prepare reports, dashboards, and publications to communicate pricing and market information, while communicating with clarity across teams and stakeholders.
Generate stories for news service and longer, more analytical content focusing on industry trends and related developments
Collaborate with regional recycled plastics teams to enhance global recycled plastics coverage
Represent Dow Jones Energy at industry events. (Travel is expected)
You Have:
Solid expertise adapting policies and practices as needed in price reporting, market data analysis, or a related field.
4-7 years of prior experience in price reporting, energy markets, or a related industry.
Proven ability to guide, supervise, or mentor less experienced colleagues and contribute leadership within defined workstreams.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Passion to track and cover the petrochemical markets; experience writing about or working in the recycled plastics, petrochemicals or plastics industry would be helpful but not essential
Ability to speak Mandarin or experience in recycled plastics would be helpful but not essential
