Senior Analog IC Design Engineer

The Data Center and Energy team at Analog Devices is seeking a SENIOR ANALOG IC DESIGN ENGINEER. The successful candidate will join a talented and motivated multi-disciplinary team, working with a global team of innovators to develop new industry-leading IC products for the high-growth data center and energy markets.

Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of mixed-signal products, working with a team of analog designers to define specifications and execute designs, including transistor-level design, behavioral modeling, pre-silicon verification and documentation, and post-silicon validation
  • Develop optimized solutions with consideration of performance, area, power, risk, resources, and schedule
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of development flows and methodologies for the team
  • Provide guidance and support to other functions, including the layout team, test development, and bench evaluation
  • Support technical feasibility investigations and advanced development projects

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

  • Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, with 5+ years of analog circuit design experience
  • Good understanding of semiconductor device physics
  • Strong technical and analytical background with good problem-solving skills
  • Able to work effectively with colleagues from different backgrounds and locations as part of a multi-disciplinary teaam
  • Good understanding of analog and mixed-signal design flow
  • Excellent written and verbal communication

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • General analog design experience but particularly power management design experience, especially hotswap controllers & electronic fuses; or experience in data converters and amplifiers
  • Python scripting ability
  • Analog behavioral modeling experience
