About the Role
Come join us! We are now looking for a Mechanical Engineering Manager to lead our highly skilled team into the future. Based in Danderyd, we develop and manufacture precision optical measurement instruments used globally in Surveying and Construction Engineering.
The Mechanical Engineering team is key for obtaining the high accuracy required for our products and for devising the specialized production equipment needed for their manufacturing. In this role, you will lead a team of Mechanical Engineers, reporting directly to the Engineering Director in Danderyd.

What You Will Do:
People Leadership: Act as the people manager for the Mechanical Engineering team, overseeing recruitment and compensation.
Process Ownership: Serve as the owner of Mechanical Engineering development processes and drive the continuous evolution of "ways of working".
Resource Management: Balance workloads across the team and participate in weekly pulse meetings for resource prioritization.
Financial Oversight: Manage monthly financial forecasting for the team.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Interface both internally and externally with Marketing Managers, system architects and colleagues in adjacent development departments to ensure solutions meet technical expectations.
What Skills & Experience You Should Bring:
Education: MSc in Mechanical Engineering or a similar field.
Professional Experience: Minimum of five years of experience in Mechanical Engineering of high-tech products; focus on optomechanical systems is preferred.
Leadership: Experience in people management is considered a bonus.
Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with fluency in both Swedish and English.
Attributes: A structured, process-oriented mindset is essential for success in this role, as is a thorough technical understanding and problem solving.
