We’re looking for a Senior Anaesthetic Endoscopy Practitioner to join our Endoscopy team at The Princess Grace Hospital. Our Endoscopy Centre offers a modern, purpose‑built environment in the heart of London’s medical district, delivering complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures supported by advanced technology and a strong multidisciplinary approach. As a Senior Anaesthetic Endoscopy Practitioner, you’ll be part of a team that supports patients through a wide range of endoscopic procedures under sedation or general anaesthetic. You’ll work closely with consultants and colleagues to deliver safe, responsive care throughout the perioperative journey. You’ll use your clinical judgement, problem‑solving skills and calm approach to ensure patients feel reassured and well supported at every stage. You’ll also help maintain equipment and stock levels, contribute to service efficiency and play an active role in continuous improvement across the unit.

What you’ll do:
  • Assess, plan, implement and evaluate personalised care for patients undergoing endoscopy.
  • Provide skilled and safe anaesthetic assistance throughout procedures.
  • Prepare, check and maintain all anaesthetic equipment and flexible endoscopes in line with regulations and best practice.
  • Support the smooth running of the unit, including stock management and workflow coordination.
  • Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to deliver a consistently high‑quality service.
What you’ll bring:
  • Registered Nurse (NMC Level 1) or Operating Department Practitioner with HCPC registration.
  • Anaesthetics qualification.
  • Endoscopy experience or a willingness to train and develop in this specialty.
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development.
  • A commitment to maintaining high clinical standards and delivering person‑centred care.
