About the role

 

The Senior Amazon CoE Manager defines and scales Dyson’s global Amazon strategy, standards, and growth framework.

This role operates as the global Centre of Excellence for Amazon, setting the commercial, content, advertising, and operational playbook that markets execute locally. You will establish the one-year growth strategy (JBP), define portfolio and profitability guardrails, and ensure consistent best-in-class execution across all Amazon marketplaces.

The mandate is to drive sustainable, profitable growth on Amazon through strategic clarity, commercial discipline, and operational excellence.

You’ll own:

  • Global Amazon Joint Business Planning (JBP) 
  • Global Commercial strategy / growth roadmap with Global Account Director 
  • Portfolio and profitability governance 
  • Global standards, frameworks, and toolkits for Amazon execution and cross market scaling 
  • Launch management framework (playbook) for NPDs and execution blueprint 
  • Creation of Amazon specific content, achieving best-practice customer experience standards 
  • Content optimisation standards across titles, images, A+ content, and SEO  
  • Global Amazon advertising strategy and ROI optimisation approach 
  • Market expansion strategy across new geographies 
  • Global Amazon data strategy and reporting architecture, Amazon performance analytics, reporting standards, and tool requirements, 
  • Knowledge sharing and capability building across markets 
  • Coordination of global product launches 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the annual Amazon Joint Business Plan, setting growth targets, investment priorities, and key initiatives.
  • Establish portfolio strategy guardrails, monitoring Net PPM, advertising costs, and contribution margins to ensure profitable growth.
  • Develop global pricing, assortment, and promotional frameworks to balance market share growth with margin protection.
  • Create and maintain global content standards (titles, descriptions, imagery, rich content, SEO optimisation) to maximise discoverability and conversion.
  • Rating and Reviews strategy governance
  • Define launch management standards for new product introductions, ensuring coordinated execution across markets.
  • Own the Amazon advertising strategy, setting ROI targets, bidding frameworks, and investment allocation principles.
  • Monitor and improve share of shelf, category rankings, content compliance, and adherence to Amazon operational standards.
  • Define and deploy analytics tools required to monitor performance, market share, advertising ROI, and competitive positioning.
  • Support expansion into new Amazon marketplaces with structured entry frameworks and playbooks.
  • Maintain and optimise brand store (“shop-in-shop”) standards to ensure consistent brand presentation.
  • Facilitate global knowledge sharing, ensuring best practices, learnings, and innovations are scaled across regions.

About you

  • Significant experience managing Amazon as a strategic sales channel within global consumer or eCommerce environments
  • Strong understanding of Amazon commercial mechanics (Net PPM, advertising, algorithm dynamics, SEO, content optimisation)
  • Experience building Joint Business Plans and managing retailer relationships
  • Strong financial acumen and portfolio management capability
  • Proven ability to design scalable frameworks and standards across multiple markets
  • Advanced analytical capability and comfort with marketplace reporting tools
  • Strong stakeholder management skills across commercial, marketing, and regional teams
