What success looks like in this role:
- Rapidly converting ideas, business problems, and hypotheses into working demonstrations & PoCs
- Designing, building, and orchestrating Agentic AI systems, including autonomous and semi-autonomous agents capable of reasoning, planning, tool usage, and goal execution.
- Leading the design and development of Generative AI applications leveraging LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, and multi-agent frameworks.
- Working with Scrum/Agile teams to develop rapid prototypes and work toward scalable enterprise solutions.
- Evaluating, selecting, and integrating AI frameworks, agent orchestration tools, and model providers relevant to agentic and generative AI development.
- Staying current on LLMs, agent architectures, reasoning, memory, and AI best practices.
- Learning, evaluating, and leveraging emerging AI tooling ecosystems including copilots, agent builders, orchestration platforms, and observability tools.
- Self-starter working independently as well as collaboratively to deliver high-impact outcomes.
- Providing technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to junior AI engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.
- Demonstrating strong ownership of quality, reliability, security, and productivity, using efficient development practices, reusable components, and enterprise standards.

You will be successful in this role if you have:
- BS/BE Degree with 5-8 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and their application in agent-based and autonomous systems.
- Solid understanding of Agentic AI concepts, including planning, reasoning, and multi-agent collaboration.
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience agent orchestration frameworks and AI tooling ecosystems (e.g., CrewAI).
- Proficiency with Azure AI Services, including Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Doc Intelligence, Translator, etc
- Strong understanding of Azure OpenAI GPT models, including capabilities, limitations, prompt engineering, function calling, tool use, and structured outputs.
- Strong programming skills in Python, with experience integrating AI services, APIs, and data pipelines.
- Proficiency in back-end development using Python, and/or Golang, with a focus on API-driven architecture.
- Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, and familiarity with vector databases.
- Working knowledge of at least one front-end framework such as React or Angular for UI
- Hands-on experience with cloud-native development, containers, and microservices.
- Demonstrated experience in cluster using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm & platforms like Rancher
- Familiarity with UI/UX tooling such as Figma for rapid prototyping and design collaboration.
- Cloud certifications (Azure Developer, Azure AI Engineer, or equivalent) are an added advantage.
