We are transforming our Advice business and have a vacancy within our team for a strong data minded individual to support the data mapping, data validation and data reconciliations, bringing between our technical teams and business SMEs as we proceed with a major data migration programme.
This role offers the opportunity to gets hands on with the technology, data and processes that our advisers use daily to meet their clients’ needs. You will be joining a small and friendly team of similarly skilled individuals.
We’re looking for someone with experience in data mapping and migration. Knowledge of the QFP Advice business or Payments processes, business or finance reporting and prior knowledge of our existing payments and point of sale systems is preferred.
The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, who is able to work closely with Business SMEs and other BAs working on the programme to elicit data migration and reconciliation requirements.
The role will involve getting hands-on with data analysis and data mappings, including investigating data issues, performing reconciliations, and resolving mapping or testing defects.
Any prior knowledge and experience in using Power BI, Data Bricks and SQL would be beneficial, but not essential – you will be working alongside a team of data engineers and data analysts who will assist accessing our data for analysis. However, the candidate must be comfortable with performing analysis on large data sets, performing data investigations and analytics and participating in the testing of data transformations and reconciliation solutions.
This role is a fantastic opportunity to learn in depth about our Advice technology and be involved in the next step of our strategic journey to simplify and grow our business.
The candidate is expected to be pro-active in managing their work to meet the overall programme delivery plan, reporting progress, issues and risks to the Project Manager.
