As a Senior AI Engineer, you will apply strong technical and business knowledge to ensure successful outcomes across multiple AI services. You will act as a senior technical contributor and mentor, influencing architecture, reliability, and delivery standards across teams.
As a Senior AI Engineer, you will be responsible for:
Executing and leading the evaluation, design, analysis, testing, and integration of complex AI model serving solutions.
Designing and reviewing serving architectures across multiple services, applying system- and service-level engineering practices.
Driving adoption of controlled rollout and rollback patterns to ensure safe and predictable production changes.
Ensuring serving solutions meet performance, scalability, cost, and reliability expectations through proactive design and review.
Leading or participating in cross-team design and architecture reviews, ensuring consistency with serving and reliability standards.
Providing technical leadership and mentorship to engineers across teams, promoting best practices in model serving.
Collaborating with Platform & MLOps, Reliability & Support, Security, Data, and Product teams to resolve cross-service challenges.
Ensuring appropriate operational artifacts are in place, including documentation, runbooks, telemetry expectations, and integration guidance.
Identifying systemic issues in serving solutions and driving improvements that raise the overall quality and reliability of AI services.
Fuel Your Passion
To be successful in this role, you will:
Have a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related technical field.
Have extensive experience delivering and operating production-grade backend or AI-enabled services.
Have strong expertise in backend programming languages such as Python.
Proven experience designing microservice-based, cloud-native architectures.
Strong understanding of API design, versioning, and integration patterns.
Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS.
Have solid knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and DevOps practices.
Have Experience conducting design reviews, mentoring engineers, and influencing technical direction.
Be able to communicate complex technical topics clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Have experience with real-time AI inference, GenAI serving, and performance- and cost-aware serving patterns is a strong advantage.
