Job Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, debug, and maintain modular Terraform infrastructure-as-code for the entire Azure production footprint.

  • Configure and manage Azure Container Apps, Virtual Network (VNet) integrations, Private Endpoints, Managed Identities, and Azure Container Registry (ACR).

  • Optimize Azure networking topologies (Private DNS Zones, subnets, RBAC) for maximum security and scalability.

  • Analyze and resolve cross-service connectivity issues, collaborating closely with the AI engineering team.

  • Build, update, and optimize GitHub Actions workflows for automated code deployment across Development, UAT, and Production environments.

  • Establish, monitor, and troubleshoot automated migrations and container image tagging procedures.

  • Maintain, debug, and enhance Node.js/Express backend APIs and React frontend within the microservice architecture.

  • Integrate middleware patterns and TanStack Query hooks as needed to deliver reliable user and developer experiences.

  • Lead SSO integration with Microsoft Entra ID and Key Vault secret management, ensuring secure and compliant access.

  • Configure DNS and SSL certificates for safe deployment.

  • Work cross-functionally with AI Technical Lead in a collaborative culture that values diverse perspectives.

  • Use LLMs and automation tools to improve deployment efficiency and cloud reliability.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years in software engineering, cloud engineering, or machine learning engineering.

  • Minimum 3 years working directly with AI or ML systems in production environments.

  • Demonstrated expertise configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting production Azure environments, including networking, containers, databases, and security tools (e.g., Azure Container Apps, PostgreSQL Flexible Server, ACR, Static Web Apps).

  • Proficiency with Terraform (infrastructure as code)—able to manage state, debug conflicts, and build reusable modules.

  • Strong skills in Node.js/TypeScript backend and React (Vite) frontend development; comfortable integrating APIs and troubleshooting middleware patterns.

  • In-depth knowledge of containerization (Docker multi-stage builds, image optimization, troubleshooting startup issues).

  • Experience managing PostgreSQL database schemas and migration workflows.

  • Ability to build, optimize, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions or equivalent tools.

  • Ability to design and build optimized AI pipelines and integrations

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills to document procedures and share expertise across the team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with observability tools such as Azure Log Analytics and KQL.

  • Previous work with Azure Entra ID / SSO integrations and key management.

  • Familiarity with OpenAI API infrastructure (rate limiting, token management, secure connectivity).

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science or relevant discipline, or equivalent work skills.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. For Colorado residents, the compensation range for this position: $156,500 - $180,000. For Washington residents, Illinois residents, New York residents, and Southern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $172,200 - $198,000. For Northern California residents, the compensation range for this position: $180,000 - $207,000. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
