Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Senior Administrative Coordinator for the Investment Business Unit at Alliance Bernstein. This role is pivotal in ensuring efficient workflow, maintaining effective communication between onshore and offshore teams, and the delivery of high-quality administrative support for the Investment Professionals to meet business objectives. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, problem solving skills, and the capability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
This Pune-based role involves overseeing a team of administrative assistants, providing training, and ensuring coverage/backfill when team members are out. The successful candidate will also provide administrative support to senior professionals and collaborate with team members in various offices internationally.

Key Responsibilities
- Oversee Pune-based Investment admin assistants, providing guidance, training and support as needed.
- Act as the primary liaison between onshore Manager and offshore team members, facilitating clear and effective communication, clarity of expectations and smooth information flow.
- Coordinate daily tasks and projects, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
- Monitor progress of tasks and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Address operational challenges promptly escalating when necessary to maintain service continuity.
- Arrange business travel and handle day-to-day calendar changes.
- Collaborate with the onshore manager to identify areas for process improvement and implement changes as needed.
- Assist with the recruitment and onboarding of new offshore Investment administrative assistants.
- Guide the Pune admin team to ensure productivity, accuracy and adherence to company standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an executive administrative or leader role, with at least 2 years in a supervisory position.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, OneNote, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Ability to work independently and use good judgement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and composure in a fast-paced environment.
