Account Receivable Management
1. Oversee the process of all receivables matters through regular review, periodic checking, and approval based on policy and procedure including:
1.1 Cash application management - Manage cash application process by collecting bank statements or other data from banks / customers
1.2 Maintaining customer payment to account balances - Ensure the cash payments from customers are applied to the right account balances
1.3 AR management - Perform AR collection forecasting and ageing analysis as well as generate dunning letter (if needed or perform AR write off as requested for long outstanding receivables
2. Ensure that all receivables function within the organization are performed in accordance to the Standard Level Agreement
3. Ensure that receivables function follows proper procedures in accordance with corporate company accounting policy
4. Develop and manage Receivables team goals, work schedules and activities, back up procedures and staffing requirements to ensure coverage at all times
5. Provide leadership, coaching, counseling, training and guidance to the Receivables team so they can proactively carry out their role to the highest possible standard
6. Support auditors and legal authorities by providing necessary information as needed
7. Drive towards balanced workload distribution and assignment among team members
8. Resolve operational issues and escalate as necessary based on the guidelines
9. Provide transaction data to Head of Invoice to Cash (I2C) and Service Management as input for further improvement
Cost Accounting
1. Make sure cost allocation in SAP runs according to processes in actual condition
Service Management and Continuous Improvement
1. Ensure that service levels and targets for Receivables team are met and service is delivered to customers in accordance to defined Service Level Agreements
2. Continuously improve work process to increase process effectiveness
3. Maintain good relationship with external and internal stakeholders
Audit and Compliance
1. Oversee current processes, operations, systems, databases and information security are up to date and comply with proper accounting and legal principles/policies/ procedures
2. Support auditors and legal authorities with the required information
Planning and Controlling
1. Manage costs within budget expenditure guidelines
