The Senior Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing critical accounting functions, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and leading a team of accounting professionals. This role manages internal and external audits, sales tax compliance and audits, property tax filings, treasury operations, and corporate travel program oversight. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership capabilities. You will report to the VP Controller.
Where You'll Work
This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite at our Office in West Chester, OH several days per month. Relocation assistance is not available for this role.
What You’ll Do
Oversee company treasury functions, including cash flow management, forecasting, and banking relationships
Ensure proper controls over cash handling, investments, and liquidity management
Optimize working capital and recommend financial strategies to leadership
Manage all aspects of internal & external audits, including planning, coordination, and execution
Serve as the primary liaison with external auditors and regulatory agencies
Ensure timely and accurate preparation of audit schedules and supporting documentation
Oversee preparation and filing of multi-state sales and property tax returns
Oversee preparation on state and federal income tax templates
Manage and respond to sales tax audits, including documentation and negotiation with authorities
Monitor changes in tax regulations and ensure organizational compliance
Manage the company’s travel program, including vendor relationships, policy development, and cost controls
Monitor travel expenditures and identify opportunities for savings and efficiency
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting (preferred) or Finance
7+ years of progressive accounting experience, with 3+ years in a managerial role
Strong knowledge of audit processes, sales tax compliance, and treasury operations
Experience managing tax audits and multi-jurisdictional filings
Proven leadership and team management skills
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication abilities
Proficiency in accounting systems and ERP platforms
