What you’ll do at Jamf:

Our Senior Accountant plays a critical role in keeping compensation and benefits accounting airtight. You'll tackle complex reconciliations, prepare adjusting journal entries, and take full ownership of general ledger accuracy. This position offers real autonomy paired with a supportive, team-oriented environment - ideal for someone who takes pride in getting the numbers right.

 

This role is offered as a hybrid from Brno, the Czech Republic. We are only able to accept applications for those based in the Czech Republic and have sponsorship to live and work in the Czech Republic. #LI-Hybrid

  

 

What you can expect to do in this role: 

  • Prepare journal entries for assigned compensation-related general ledger activity according to US GAAP, including but not limited to payroll, bonus, commissions, PTO, and various benefits
  • Collaborate with various internal teams and external vendors to identify any new earnings, deductions, or taxes
  • Book assigned cash entries related to compensation and benefits
  • Support month-end close process including timely completion of tasks and resolution of issues
  • Complete monthly account reconciliations for assigned balance sheet accounts
  • Analyze balance fluctuations on specific accounts and provide explanation for drivers of change
  • Collaborate with international bookkeeping service providers to understand local accounting requirements
  • Reconcile statutory financials of international subsidiaries to US GAAP financials
  • Identify and drive process improvements to increase accuracy and efficiency
  • Support and enhance ongoing SOX controls
  • Assist Staff Accountants with reconciliations, journal entries, and reporting as needed
  • Assist with annual audit requirements and integration of acquisitions
  • Assist General Ledger Manager with special projects and other duties as assigned

 

What we are looking for: 

  • Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience (Required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting for payroll (Preferred)
  • Advanced understanding of US GAAP (Preferred)
  • High attention to detail and level of accuracy (Required)
  • Experience working with multiple foreign currencies (Preferred)
  • Ability to work in a high-growth, fast-paced, and changing environment
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills

 

EDUCATION

  • 3 year / Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar
