The Importance of the Role
Sarepta Therapeutics, Inc. is searching for a highly motivated, proactive, detail-oriented individual to join our growing Finance team. This position will be responsible for reviewing and completing the financial aspects related to inventory and manufacturing operations for both commercial and clinical programs, including cost accounting. This role will also be responsible for tracking projects and manufacturing activities, inventory analysis, standard costing and account reconciliations. This position will report to the Senior Manager, Cost Accounting & Manufacturing Operations and may be asked to assist with other activities and projects as requested.
The Opportunity to Make a Difference
- Prepare monthly journal entries with required supporting documentation
- Collaborate with various business partners for project tracking, manufacturing updates, purchase order creation, accounts payable, receiving, shipping, etc.
- Reconcile and analyze general ledger accounts
- Assist in the preparation of materials to support audit requests and quarterly reviews including interacting with auditors
- Work closely with Supply Chain to analyze and reconcile inventory CMO reports
- Prepare monthly inventory reports including the inventory roll-forward report, account reconciliations, and work order variances
- Analyze monthly purchase price and manufacturing variances
- Work with the Technical Accounting group to align our understanding of contracts and confirm the proper accounting treatment
- Assist with physical inventory and cycle counts at various locations
- Monitor and review inventory movement and transactions such as workorder completions, material receipts, and product cost of goods sold
- Assist with development of standard costs
- Support the company’s SOX compliance efforts, maintaining detailed control documentation
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
More about You
- BA/BS with a major in Accounting, Finance or Business Management
- 3+ years of accounting experience for a publicly traded company, life science/pharma industry preferred
- Solid understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory and cost accounting
- Knowledge of Oracle ERP applications, ideally Oracle Fusion is preferred
- Understanding of U.S. GAAP as it applies to a manufacturing environment is required
- Excellent analytical skills with knowledge of Excel-based modeling
- Excellent organizational and project management skills, ability to prioritize appropriately and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work individually, within a multi-disciplinary team, as well as with external partners and vendors
- Strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work in a team environment to reach a satisfactory resolution

This position is hybrid, you will be expected to work on site at one of Sarepta’s facilities in the United States and/or attend Company-sponsored in-person events from time to time.
The targeted salary range for this position is $94,800 - $118,500 per year. Sarepta is making a good faith effort to be transparent and accurate around our hiring ranges. The salary offer is commensurate with Sarepta’s compensation philosophy and considers factors including, but not limited to, education, training, experience, external market conditions, criticality of role, and internal equity.
