Senior Account Manager CVAS Aftermarket (f/m/d)

Responsibilities:

  • Customer Account Management: Maintain and develop strong relationships with existing customer accounts in the commercial vehicle aftermarket, ensuring customer satisfaction and long-term cooperation. Maintain close contact with customers senior decision-makers. Develop tailored account plans that align customer needs with company goals and proactively develop customer accounts. Act as the main escalation point for operational or quality issues and lead all negotiations with the customer.
  • New Business Development: Identify and acquire new customers, with a focus on Wholesalers and strategic aftermarket players. Understand their needs and their market environment and develop tailored quotations.
  • Quotation Preparation: Prepare competitive quotations based on customer requirements, market specifications, and strategic pricing guidelines. Understand their needs and their market environment and develop tailored quotations.
  • Sales Strategy : Support the development and implementation of sales strategies to meet revenue and growth targets. Collaborate closely with the departments Engineering, Category Management, Logistics and Purchasing as well as with the production plants.
  • Internal Reporting: Provide structured, timely, and accurate sales reports and customer updates to the Head of Sales. Monitor and report KPIs and market feedback.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and improve internal sales processes and support with the preparation of templates, tables and other sales related documents.
  • Market Intelligence: Monitor aftermarket trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.

Qualifications:

  • You hold a degree in Engineering or Economics or a similar subject

  • You have experience in the described key tasks being familiar with the global automotive industry

  • Your knowledge about contract law and pricing policy enables you to successfully negotiate in an international context

  • To meet strategic targets you can apply a structured and team-oriented approach

  • As a strong communicator and diplomatic moderator you are prepared for difficult conversations with your customer

  • You speak English fluently to collaborate with your international team colleagues
