Senior Account Executive (Football)

We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and highly motivated Senior Account Executive to join a dynamic team, working with major sponsors in sports over the summer.  The role is initially a fixed term contract role are ideal for someone with a passion for sports events with minimum 2 years of events and/or hospitality-based experience.

About You

This role will assist the account team responsible for activating a client’s European sponsorship portfolio and we’re looking for candidates who are highly detail orientated, possess solid account management skills and have a passion for Events and Sponsorship. The successful candidate will be joining a dynamic team, working on asset management and ticket delivery for the UEFA Champions League. Responsibilities will include supporting the management of the hospitality and ticketing assets via clients database, seamless tracking and delivery of tickets, onsite hosting, contributing to the day-to-day administration of the account, including budget management and weekly status reports.

Responsibilities

  • Asset management, tracking and delivery including ticketing and hotels.
  • Management of the client database and allocation of tickets via a bespoke portal.
  • Seamless delivery of the ticketing programme via liaison with our key clients
  • Management of third-party suppliers
  • Working with colleagues/offices from across the globe
  • Support weekly status meetings and client liaison, creating agendas, recaps, and project updates
  • Meeting and workshop coordination
  • Regular reporting – pre, during and post activities
  • Support budget management including tracking, reporting, invoicing, and financial reconciliation with clients and finance teams
  • Interpret data and research to create impactful reports, best practice studies, and recommendations for clients

  • You communicate clearly. You can write well, you speak in an engaging way and can explain your thoughts and ideas succinctly
  • You are patient, level-headed and cool under pressure
  • You are a real team player
  • You have strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously all to strict deadlines.

It’s not essential but will really help if:

  • You are fluent in any other languages
  • Degree or equivalent qualifications
  • Agency experience working of up to 2 years in a similar role, ideally with experience in the hospitality and ticketing space
  • You have an interest in football events
  • You are available immediately
