Senior Account Executive – FINPRO Corporate (Financial Lines)

Marsh is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our FINPRO Corporate practice in Victoria. This is a client-facing role focused on managing a portfolio of Financial Lines led clients, delivering high-quality broking and advisory support, and contributing to retention and growth outcomes. There is a strong focus on construction PI professionals.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage a portfolio of Financial Lines clients by developing strong client relationships and delivering superior client service.
  • Lead day-to-day renewal, placement and broking activities aligned to client needs and agreed strategies.
  • Provide technical advice and support to clients across major Financial Lines classes (and more broadly guide their overall insurance programs), ensuring timely, accurate delivery.
  • Partner with Claims to help protect clients’ interests and support timely claim resolution.
  • Build and maintain strong insurer relationships and support negotiations and placement outcomes.
  • Ensure accurate, efficient and timely production of client, insurer and policy documentation, working closely with Marsh Client Operations (MCO) (including invoices, placing slips, renewal materials, certificates, system/file maintenance and reporting).
  • Maintain oversight of outstanding renewals, credit control and required portfolio reporting, inclusive of compliance requirements.
  • Identify new and expanded business opportunities.
  • Assist in presentations to prospective clients and develop innovative solutions to gain new clients.
  • Mentor and support development of Assistant Account Executives and Account Executives.
  • Attend industry events and conferences to build a strong professional network and represent the company.

What you need to have:

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in insurance broking (Financial Lines and/or general program management).
  • Advantageous to have been working within construction PI previously
  • Strong client service capability with the ability to anticipate needs and deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously within a multi-skilled team environment.
  • Strong prioritisation and time management skills; able to perform under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, sound administration skills and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office capability and willingness to learn new systems quickly.
  • Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification
