As a Security Specialist - Workforce Identity Access Management / IGA Product Management
within PNC's Enterprise Workforce Identity Access Management department within the Technology organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA.
The Security Specialist – Workforce Identity Access Management (WIAM) plays a critical part in managing and evolving workforce identity platforms that support secure, efficient access across the enterprise. The team owns the technology, products, and roadmaps for WIAM capabilities and partners closely with engineering teams to continuously enhance tools in alignment with business needs and security priorities.
This position operates at the intersection of technology, security, and business, acting as a key liaison between stakeholders and engineering partners. The Security Specialist functions in a product-oriented capacity for WIAM tools. While also helping shape backlog priorities, translating business requirements into actionable deliverables, and ensuring solutions support workforce identity lifecycle.

Core Responsibilities
Preferred Skills & Experience
- Strong understanding of the Workforce Identity and Access Management lifecycle
Hands-on experience with Workforce IAM IGA solutions such as Oracle OIM, Saviynt, SailPoint, or similar platforms
- Ability to partner closely with technical and engineering teams to understand complex systems and clearly convey business needs and requirements
- Experience working with tools that enable identity-related business processes
- Knowledge of workforce identity concepts, including access governance and entitlements
- Understanding of access request workflows where system access is requested on behalf of employees (e.g., manager-initiated access requests)
- Solid understanding of system access concepts, authentication, and authorization
- Strong communication skills with the ability to present, summarize, and synthesize complex information for senior leaders and executives
- Knowledge of Kanban and Agile delivery methodologies
