What this role is all about:
As part of our Security Governance team, you will have a real impact on the security posture of a global organization operating across 75+ offices and six continents. Security at Infobip is not just a checkbox — it is a critical foundation that enables us to serve more than 80% of the world's mobile users safely and reliably.
In this role, you will be exposed to the full spectrum of security governance work: from understanding how we protect a complex, multi data-center architecture, to learning how compliance frameworks translate into everyday engineering decisions. You will work closely with experienced security professionals who will guide you through the process of identifying risks, evaluating controls, and contributing to the continuous improvement of our security posture.
This is a hands-on internship where you will not just observe — you will actively participate in security reviews, support audit processes, and engage directly with development and operations teams to help embed security thinking into how we build and run our products. If you are curious about how large-scale organizations manage security at a global level, this is the right place to start.
At our six-month security internship program you will:
Familiarize yourself with GRC (Governance, Risk, Compliance) concepts,
Consult development teams on how security fits into our products
Be part of preparation for security audits
Learn how to perform vendor security reviews
Learn what risk management is
Get introduced with security aspects of AI usage
What makes you a strong fit:
You are passionate about security
You are a graduate (MA) or final year undergraduate (BA) student of Computer Science, IT, Business Economics, Mathematics...
You are keen to learn new security methodologies, processes and technologies
You have valid student's rights from Studentski centar (can work on student contract)
You're ready to start your security career after the internship!
Nice to have qualifications:
Have participated in some student projects related to cybersecurity, security governance and similar topics
Have already participated in some internship programs
Are fluent in English (conversational level or above)
Internship timeline:
Application deadline (mid of May)
Imocha online testing (By the end of May)
Interviews and selection process feedback (June)
Start of internship program (July 6th)
Orientation week in Zagreb Infobip campus (July 6th - 10th)
Working with the mentor and within a team (July - January)
End of the Internship program (January)
