Being a part of the Infobip Engineering department means working on an in-house developed product and delivering solutions on a global level.
If you are a student in the higher or final year of studies in the field of IT, join our software engineering internship program that starts in July 2026 and get a chance to land your first job at Infobip.
What this role is all about
As a Software Engineer Intern at Infobip, you will be part of the Engineering department — the team behind one of the world's largest cloud communication platforms. Depending on your assignment, you will join one of our engineering bases and contribute to real systems that power global communication at scale:
Telco — systems that integrate with telecom operators and manage carrier-grade communication infrastructure
Platform — core services and APIs that form the backbone of the Infobip communication platform
RCS — next-generation messaging solutions built on the Rich Communication Services standard
OTT — integrations with over-the-top messaging channels such as WhatsApp, Viber, and similar
Data — data pipelines, analytics, and platforms that process billions of events to drive business insights
Regardless of the base you join, you will work alongside experienced engineers, contribute to production systems, and gain hands-on experience with the challenges of building software at a truly global scale.
What you'll do:
Learn about different technology stacks based on your interest
Work with Java, Spring, Spring Boot, Javascript (React or Vue) or C#, .NET Core
Contribute to your team services and directly impact the quality of our products
Write well designed, testable and scalable code in accordance to clean code principles
Use technologies you need to put your code to action such as Git, Maven and Jenkins
Work in agile environment and learn about agile methodologies
What makes you a strong fit:
You are currently studying software engineering (eg. computer science, mathematics)
You are a graduate (MA) or final year undergraduate (BA) student
You have valid student rights from Studentski centar (can work on student contract for the duration of the internship) and are able to continue working after the internship as well
Nice-to-have qualifications:
Have a GitHub profile with projects to show
Participated in student projects, Hackatons, workshops or other
Already participated in some internship programs
Are fluent in English, speak at a conversational level
Are able to work full time after completing the internship
Internship timeline:
Application deadline (mid-May)
Imocha online testing (by the end of May)
Interviews and selection process feedback (June)
Start of internship program (July 6th)
Orientation week in Zagreb Infobip campus (July 6th – 17th)
Working with the mentor and within a team (July – January)
End of the internship program (January)
