THE JOB:
As a Pastry Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and serving desserts. You will also set the stage for guest experience with your welcoming smile and service. By understanding their unique stories and needs, you will own their experience and create WOW memories they will carry long after their stay with us.
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
Follow the methods of food preparation, baking method, and techniques to properly prepare and serve desserts as instructed by the Chef
Set up and operate the workstation based on the pars established by the Chef and follow station set-up organization
Ensure food is stored and kept at proper holding temperatures through the use and reading of thermometers
List the preparations that should be completed for each day the night before
Monitor consistency of quality, presentation, and flavor of each dish
Assemble recipes without assistance
Communicate problems to the Sous Chef
Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the work area, utensils, and equipment
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
Preferred 2+ years of prior relevant experience in a similar role within the hospitality industry
Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays

Pay Rate:
The rate for this role is:
$24.00
This rate represents a good faith estimate of the wage rate that MGM reasonably expects to pay for the position upon hire.
Pay will not be below any applicable minimum wage.
Should overtime be worked, employees are paid overtime pay in accordance with state requirements.
