Do you want the opportunity to operate some of the largest equipment in America? The Coteau Properties Company is looking for talented heavy equipment operators to join our award-winning team at the Freedom Mine.

The Coteau Properties Company, a subsidiary of North American Coal Corporation, operates the Freedom Mine, the largest lignite surface coal mine in the United States with large electric draglines, loading shovels, and coal preparation facilities located north of Beulah, North Dakota. Job Description:
 

Applicants must have good communication skills and interpersonal skills and be team oriented. They must be willing to work safely 12-hours shift work and be eager to accept responsibility and challenge. We offer a competitive salary starting at $49.68 per hour and a medical benefits package for seasonal employees, including 401(k) options. Eligible benefits are effective on the first day of employment.

Heavy equipment experience on track dozer or rubber-tired dozer is most preferred, but experience on other equipment (tractor scraper, coal hauler, water truck, motor grader, off road end dump trucks, loader) can qualify. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
